Join Rascal + Thorn as we offer a very limited and exclusive spring visit to two of the finest and most beautiful restaurants/Inns in the world.
With 3 Michelin stars and a ranking of #37 on the latest World’s 50 Best Restaurants List, SingleThread Farm located in Healdsburg, California, the heart of the much-heralded Sonoma Wine Region, will be our home for two luxurious days and nights. We will experience the cooking of Star Chef Kyle Connaughton and his talented team in a number of different ways and venues, from a luxurious, full scale, Japanese-inspired private dining room in their extraordinary SingleThread Restaurant, lunch at Occidental Vineyards, a farm tour with Katina Connaughton followed by lunch at SingleThread Farm and dinner at their new sister restaurant, Little Saint. The days will be filled with visiting some of the finest wineries of the region, where we will meet wine legend Steve Kistler and his daughter Catherine at Occidental Vineyards and experience their wines with context and commentary by SingleThread Executive Wine Director, Rusty Rastello. In addition, while visiting SingleThread Farm, we will taste and learn how to actually make our own Vermouth blends guided by Birk O’Halloran of Rockwell Vermouth. In addition, we will visit several other vineyard stars of the area for special tours and tastings.

Harbor House

Perhaps the fastest rising star of the luxury inn/restaurant world in the United States is the beautiful Harbor House Inn, nestled gorgeously on the coast in Elk, California. Recently awarded its second Michelin star, the restaurant under Chef Matt Kammerer has been generating voluminous accolades for his incredible coastal cuisine. To get to Harbor House Inn, we will undertake a special journey from SingleThread with a few special stops along the way with that evening culminating in a very special sunset dinner overlooking the gloriously rocky coastline of the Pacific Ocean from the choicest location of their spectacular dining room.

Beachfront Collaboration

The final day of this unique tour will culminate with a very, very special, first-time ever, beachfront collaboration lunch put together by Chefs Connaughton and Kammerer and their teams. That evening, we will put a punctuation mark on the tour with a private dinner at a nearby restaurant that will be opening exclusively for our group.

Sunday, May 1 – SingleThread Breakfast and Personal Tour of the Farm with Katina Connaughton, Lunch on the Farm, Afternoon Winery Visits and Vermouth Workshop, Dinner at Little Saint
Monday, May 2 – Breakfast at SingleThread,  Picnic Lunch, Drive to Harbor House Inn with Apple Orchard and Cheese Producer Visits, Dinner at Harbor House Inn
Tuesday, May 3 – Leisurely Breakfast, Early Afternoon Beach Cookout, Dinner at Private Izakaya

$9945.00 per person (double occupancy)

A deposit of $1945.00 is due to secure a place on the trip. Reservations are taken on a first-come / first-serve basis.

Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start of the tour.

One suite is available as an additional supplement cost. Please inquire if interested in this option.

It is our policy at Rascal + Thorn to do what we can to minimize the risks of Covid transmission and infection amongst our guests, our travel partners, and the local populace. Given the intimate nature of our tours, we will require our guests to be fully vaccinated as per CDC recommendations at the time of the tour. Getting the vaccinations will be up to each guest, but proof of full vaccination will be necessary to participate. We will also adhere to local health regulations in place at the time of our tour. Rascal + Thorn staff will conform to those same requirements.
