The Alinea Group is the focus on this culinary group weekend.  Restaurants included are NEXT with its special World’s 50 Best menu, Roister and the Gallery menu at Alinea.  It should be a fantastic weekend of cuisine!

Cocktail Workshop

Our special excursion for the weekend is a cocktail workshop hosted by the Aviary.  During this workshop we will make various cocktails and even get to make our own infused porthole cocktail.  This is a very special treat and something that is only arranged for very special, private groups.


Interaction with the chefs and staff at each restaurant is an important concept of a Rascal & Thorn tour.  Our guests get back-stage access to many of these great restaurants to see what makes them shine.

Friday, September 29 – Arrive in Chicago for a 2-night stay at the Kimpton Palomar Hotel.  Dinner at NEXT.

Saturday, September 30 – Breakfast at hotel. Cocktail workshop at the Aviary followed by lunch at Roister.  Dinner at Alinea.

Sunday, October 1 – Breakfast at hotel.  Departure from Chicago.

We are staying at the Kimpton Palomar Hotel in downtown Chicago for 2 nights.

$3350 per person

A deposit of $1350 is due to secure a place on the trip. Reservations are taken on a first-come / first-serve basis.

Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start of the tour
