Mauro Maccioni, whose family hails from Montecatini, introduces us to some of the best restaurants and dining experiences in the Tuscany area. We start and end our journey with some special meals in Milano as well.
On this culinary insights tour we get behind the scenes to see how Mauro’s family and mother, Egi Maccioni, and local chefs use the product that makes Italy such a gastronomic destination.
Our excursions in the Tuscany area are very special. Some of the excursions include a parmiggiano tour and a meat-handling workshop at the world-renowned Dario Cecchini’s Antica Macelleria Cecchini with lunch. We will also have a cooking class and dinner party led by Mauro’s mother, Egi Maccioni.
The excursions for this trip create a nice balance between the incredible product of Italy and the cultural and historical elements that shape it. Wineries, museums and great dining!

The $4995 price per person is based on double occupancy. A deposit of $995 is due to secure a place on the trip. Reservations are taken on a first-come / first-serve basis.
If you are a single and wish to share a room we will make every effort to make this happen, but it is not guaranteed. The single supplement cost for this trip is $700 if you have your own room.
Final payment is due 60 days prior to the start of the tour.
