Distillery Visits
Distillery tours are the heart of what we do on the Bourbon Trail. Each one is different and these slight changes in the process make for a very different Bourbon or Rye.
Charles Grabitzky, the whiskey specialist of Rascal + Thorn, is leading this tour and we will visit Bardstown Bourbon Co, Lux Row Distillers, Castle & Key, Glenns Creek, Limestone Branch, Old Forester, Rabbit Hole, Peerless and others.
Unique Excursions
Not only are we getting to visit many of the famous Bourbon distilleries in Kentucky, but we will have some special arrangements to production areas and private tastings.
A trip to the Independent Stave Cooperage is a must to see the barrels being made as well as a an afternoon of fun at Churchill Downs.
Dining
Louisville is becoming one of the powerhouse dining centers of the South. Included in this Bourbon Trail Tour are two group dinners at great restaurants to enjoy some of this fine cuisine.
The group dynamic makes a trip like this fun as we can all experience the distilleries during the day, and the food and drink in the eve.
